The DD web cleaner has been designed to neutralize and clean paper or film webs before printing. This system prevents the accumulation of paper dust on the printing plate and deterioration of the print quality.

The DD web cleaner is fitted with two types of MEB anti-static bars to neutralize static electricity before and after cleaning. An external power unit supplies the required high voltage. Two brushes are fitted between the bars to brush the dust particles from the surface to be cleaned. The loose dust particles can then easily be evacuated by the suction nozzle fitted between the two brushes. The DD web cleaner is available in lengths from 60 to 1800 mm.

Application: The photograph shows a web cleaner used on a serviette printing machine. The web cleaner is also ideal for cleaning kitchen roll material before printing. Much dust is released with these paper types, so printing quality rapidly deteriorates. This is why the machines have to be cleaned frequently and much production time is lost. The DD web cleaner reduces this problem considerably.
